Μπορεί οι Χρυσές Σφαίρες να πέρασαν, όμως η “awards season” έχει ξεκινήσει για τα καλά. Μάλιστα το πρωί της Τετάρτης δόθηκαν στη δημοσιότητα οι υποψηφιότητες των BAFTA.
Τα Βραβεία της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου θα πραγματοποιηθούν στις 10 Φεβρουαρίου στο Λονδίνο και αναμένεται να έχουμε αρκετά βραβεία για την ταινία, “The Favourite” του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου.
Η ταινία του Έλληνα σκηνοθέτη είναι υποψήφια σε 12 κατηγορίες, μεταξύ αυτών για την καλύτερη ταινία, για τον Α' και Β' Γυναικείου Ρόλου, για τα κοστούμια και φυσικά για την σκηνοθεσία.
Με επτά υποψηφιότητες ακολουθούν οι ταινίες “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “First Man”, “Roma” και το “A Star is Born”.
